Anwoth is licensed for 73 pitches and we currently have 46 statics sited (4 of which are letting) and we can take 27 Tents or Tourers. 12 Touring pitches have hard standings and they all have electric & TV points.
Our resident warden Margaret – ably assisted by husband Arthur, have many years experience and they are very well liked by all our customers (some have been at Anwoth longer than we have owned it).
Anwoth’s beauty is its peace and quiet and has no play areas, no commercial interests such as shops, bars or restaurants (but these can all be found on Auchenlarie) or of course the small town of Gatehouse of Fleet.
Gatehouse is steeped in history with the water mill renovated and even the very room in which Robert Burns wrote his famous poem ‘Scots Wha Hae. Although the 20 or more hotels & inns are now reduced to 4 you will find a warm welcome awaiting you wherever you go.
